The Americana Festival
Happy July 4th! We have celebrated many 4th's together in Centerville. In Centerville the fourth of July means "The Americana Festival." It includes a 5K race, a parade, a street fair and in the evening, of course, fireworks. It was one of the very first events we attended after moving from Florida to Ohio. A couple of years ago Fox News ran a TV story on the festival as typical small town Americana! Over the years we marched in the parade together as members of the YMCA Indian Princesses. Shown below is a picture of you with one of your future bridesmaids, Christie, in the parade.
You, I, Allison, Allison and Emma, Hershey and Gucci all ran in the 5K races over the years. Below is a picture of you, Allison, and Alex finishing the race last year in Centerville HS Stadium!
This year will be a quiet 4th in Centerville without you, Allison or Gucci! I hope you enjoy your time with Jared and his family!
